Mrs. Bates received a B.A. in Biology and Secondary Education from Concordia College. After graduation, she spent one full year with CRU, then began teaching at PCS in 2024.

What do you like to do in your spare time? Read books, bake sourdough, and hang out at coffee shops

What is your favorite Bible verse and why?  My favorite verse (passage) is Philippians 3:7-11, because it reminds me that to know and follow Christ is of greater value than anything in this life, and that truth is a great strength in both suffering and everyday life.

My Deep Hope for PCS is that students come to know and see Christ as the person/thing that is of highest value in their lives.

The best part about following Jesus is...The complete freedom and joy that we have in Him, and that He cares for us.
