Mrs. Hanson has been teaching at Park Christian since August 2004. She teaches algebra I and II, pre-calculus, and consumer math. Mrs. Hanson received a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from the University of North Texas in Denton, TX– teaching fields in math and computer science and a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN.

‍What do you like to do in your spare time? In my spare time I enjoy being with family and friends, especially at the lake.

‍What is a favorite memory of Park Christian School? I have so many wonderful memories of the time I’ve spent at Park. One that often comes to mind is the time I entered the school for my job interview. I felt so at home and at peace. The first person I met as I entered was Randy Schauer, and he made me feel welcome. I also remember being totally relaxed during my interview with the high school principal … knowing this was the place God wanted me to be.

‍The best part of following Jesus is …the joy I experience in my daily walk with Him. How comforting it is to know that He is always with me… through the good times and through the really rough times. He loves me unconditionally, and I can turn to Him for wisdom of how to share that amazing love with others.
