Mrs. Jost holds an Elementary Education degree with minors in Spanish and Special Education and a Master’s degree in Special Education.
Previous Experience: She homeschooled her children, taught 4 years in Overland Park, Kansas as a special education teacher, and taught 4 years in Grand Forks, ND (two years as a special education teacher and two years as a foreign language teacher).
What do you like to do in your spare time? I like to run, be outside, travel, and play games.
Why do you feel called into Christian education? It is a wonderful blessing, honor, privilege, responsibility and JOY to join with Churches and families in pouring into the lives of young people. God is so clever, funny, creative, and so on, and it is fun to share the story of Him in every aspect of education.
The best part about following Jesus is... the way that His mercies are new every morning and that I can absolutely rest in His unchanging promises and absolute truths. As Sally Lloyd-Jones, author of the Jesus Storybook Bible, one of my very favorite children’s Bible puts it: He loves us with a Never-Stopping, Never Giving Up, Unbreaking, Always and Forever Love.
