Mr. Powers received a B.A. in Social Science Education with a major in History and a minor in Political Science from NDSU. He started teaching in 2024.

‍What do you like to do in your spare time?  I enjoy reading books, playing board games, and spending time with my wife, Kate.

What is your favorite Bible verse and why? Job 19:25-27  “I know that my Redeemer lives, and that in the end He will stand on the earth. And after my skin has been destroyed, yet in my flesh I will see God; I myself will see Him with my own eyes – I, and not another. How my heart yearns within me!”

Jesus Christ is the living God. He rules and reigns and as Christians we are in a continuing waiting for His return. Oh, what a day that will be!

The best part about following Jesus is….Knowing that without Him, I am lost. That He truly is my Savior. He is above all, THE King of kings!
