I have the privilege of keeping “the book” at the boys’ basketball games. I sit behind the scorer’s table on the opposite side of the gym from most of the Park Christian School fans. At a recent game I paused and scanned the stands. I was deeply moved by the people I observed. There were incredible alumni, amazing parents of alumni, awesome current parents, and an unbelievable mixture of beautiful friends from the community. What a great group of people!

As you read this article I want you know I don’t take you for granted. I am thankful for you! I am moved on a regular basis by your generosity, encouragement, prayer support, and partnership in the mission of Park Christian School.

As spring approaches, let’s all link arms, get on our knees, and ask the Lord to pour out His blessings on every PCS family. Let’s thank Him for His blessings: Giving Hearts Day raising over $45,000, Science Fair participants accumulating numerous rewards, enrollment on the rise, amazing financial gifts, and more. Let’s beg Him for His provisions: healing in relationships, restoring health, building up families, and providing necessary money to close the year. Let’s ask Him to use us to be a blessing to the community: hosting the Northwestern College choir and orchestra, performing various concerts and presentations, interacting with our neighbors.

These are exciting days at Park Christian School and I am thankful for you! This is a good place.
